A decade of collective giving
In May 2027, Impact Grants Chicago will mark 10 years of grantmaking. Over the past nine grant years, our members have invested more than $4.4 million in Chicago nonprofits through transformational $100,000 Impact Grants and meaningful Merit Grants.
This year, we’re aiming to give more than ever before. Growing our membership increases the number of $100,000 Impact Grants we can award, while also supporting meaningful Merit Grants in our 10th grant cycle. Members contribute $1,000 for the grant year, and 100% of those donations go directly to well-vetted Chicago nonprofits.

Curious about Impact Grants Chicago? Join us at an upcoming event to meet members, learn more about how IGC works and find the level of involvement that feels right for you.
- New & Prospective Member Information Sessions: Learn about Impact Grants Chicago's mission, how membership works and the various ways to get involved. These virtual sessions include a short overview followed by a Q&A session, making them an easy first step if you're considering joining.
- Meet & Greet Coffees: Join members for coffee or tea in a casual, small-group setting. These gatherings are a chance to ask questions, hear about members' experiences and learn more about IGC in a relaxed environment.

- Lunch & Learn: This popular event brings together Impact Grants Chicago's most recent grant recipients in a topical panel discussion about the challenges and opportunities our city faces. It's a great way for prospective members to see the impact of IGC's grantmaking firsthand and connect with current members.

- Mingle & Jingle Holiday Party: Join us for our annual Mingle & Jingle holiday party, featuring small bites, wine tasting and time to connect with members. Prospective members are welcome and can experience the IGC community in a more social setting. and connect with other members.
