Impactful Conversation – Connections for Abused Women and their Children

On September 30, Impact members and guests tuned in for our first ever Zoom Impactful Conversation with Stephanie Love-Patterson, the Executive Director of Connections for Abused Women and their Children. Stephanie shared the challenges CAWC has faced during the pandemic and how our Impact Grant has been critical in helping them address some of those challenges.

Impactful Conversation – I Grow Chicago - October 2020

On Tuesday, October 20, Impact members and guests participated in our Impactful Conversation Live Webinar with 2020 $100,000 Impact Grantee I Grow Chicago. Sol Anderson, I Grow Chicago’s Executive Director, discussed their mission to grow the Englewood community from surviving to thriving through community connection. Sol also shared how important our Impact Grant was in enabling them to provide critical services and supplies to the community during COVID-19. Lunch and Learn – “Rising to the Challenge: Nonprofits during COVID-19” - November 2020

The panelists discussed the importance of leadership and communication; and identified best practices for their organizations, which they intend to continue post-pandemic. They also stressed how the Impact Grants Chicago $100,000 Impact Grant has been crucial in their ability to address the immediate needs caused by COVID-19.
